The sons of the Beatles could make a band of their own! James McCartney, Sean Lennon, and Dhani Harrison are all apparently interested in starting a rock band, however, Ringo's son Zak Starkey doesn't seem quite interested. Good thing Zak has a younger brother who also plays drums, Jason. James seemed hopeful when asked about the reality of the project. This could be really cool! People have already started tweeting ideas for band names for the group with the hashtag #sonsofbeatles!
(Spinner) Beatles' Sons Band? James McCartney Says It Could Happen
The sons of the Beatles may make a band of their own. According to a BBC interview with Paul McCartney's son James, a second-generation Fab Four could be in the works.
The 34-year-old McCartney admits that he has spoken with Dhani Harrison and Sean Lennon about creating their own rock outfit. However, Ringo Starr's offspring may take a bit more coaxing.
"I don't think it's something that Zak [Starkey] wants to do," James McCartney told the BBC. "Maybe Jason [another of Starr's sons and also drummer] would want to do it. I'd be up for it. Sean seemed to be into it, Dhani seemed to be into it. I'd be happy to do it."
